Cyberstalking

Cyberstalking can be in any number of disguises. Cyberstalking is the use of the internet . Cyberstalking is very threatening behavior or unwanted advances. The violence Against Women Act passed in 2000 made cyberstalking a part of the federal interstate stalking statue. States have begun to address the use of computers to see what you do? . Victims who are under the age of 18 should tell their parents or another adult they trust about any harassments and/or threats.

Cyberstalking can be harassing . Some cyberstalkers can steal your identity or they can harass your so be careful who you trust family and friends. It can be embarass you in front of everybody you know. Contacting or soliciting the cyber victim is a harassment a cyberstalker can post defamatory accusations on the web. Cyberstalking may use ordinary electronics means such as search engines. They are message boards, social networking, and email. Cyerstalking may involve illegal hacking breach. Stalking generally invovles harassing phone calls, leaving written messages.

Cyberstalkers find their victims through chat rooms, message boards, discussion forums, and email. Most victims are a women and most stalkers are men. If your email has filtering capabilities use it to block them. Never use your real name, nick name, or anything that people would call you. Suggestive name. Many cyberstalkers try to damage the reputation of their victims.
