Privacy issues affecting the school setting are much like those affecting parents at home.

Tips or guidelines on using the Internet:
  • Never give your number in a chat room or on a bulletin board.
  • Never send a picture of yourself to anyone without checking with your parents
  • Never plan a face-to-face meeting alone with someone you met online.
  • Do not accept email, files, links, or URL's from people you do not know.
  • Follow the ground rules for using the Internet set up with your parents in your home.

Children should show enough responsibility to be able to go on computers and be trusted with them. Also by teaching responsibility on computers that will eventually happen.
